PhD in Architecture and Urbanism at the University of São Paulo in the area of #8203;#8203;"History and Fundamentals of Architecture and Urbanism" (2003) with the thesis focused on the history of the urban landscape of São Paulo and its urbanization process, discovering the interfaces with its waters and history of hydraulic works. The thesis "City of Waters" was concluded at FAUUSP in December 2002, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Murillo Marx, and resulted in the book "City of Waters", published by Rima, São Carlos, in 2004.Saide Kahtouni holds a degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the University of São Paulo (1986), and a Master's degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the University of São Paulo, in Landscape and Environment, completed in 1993, with a master's thesis "Engineering Systems as Factors of environmental and landscape mutation in the Tietê Valley, Brazil, She is specialized in Environmental Management and Technologies, at the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (USP) in 1998. Between 2010 and 2011 he developed activities in the post-doctoral program by Prourb - Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, with FAPERJ scholarship, performing activities within the postgraduate program in Urbanism at UFRJ, as a visiting professor in postgraduate courses focused on urban landscape and landscape theory. part of the Prourb Interdisciplinary Research Group on Landscape Research, coordinated by Prof. Lucia Costa, his postdoc tutor, with whom he maintains constant exchanges.Since 2015, she has been a consultant on environmental projects at NUTAU-USP. Since 2017, she has been representing this USP NAP in the Laboratory of Cities, Technology and Urbanism - Research Group, CONECTICIDADE, interdisciplinar.He has over 30 years of experience in Architecture and Urbanism, with emphasis on Urbanism, working mainly in the following subjects: urbanization history, urban landscape, its foundations and history, infrastructure and urban and landscape design , urban equipment, and environmental consulting.From 1990 she acted as a university professor, having conducted several scientific initiation works, with FAPESP and CNPq grants and also masters, with CAPES scholarships, beginning in 2005, at the USJT. She was a founding professor of the undergraduate courses in Architecture and Urbanism at UNIP (1991-1999) and at São Judas, USJT (1991 - dec.2007). In 2004 she acted as founder of the master's degree in Architecture and Urbanism at USJT-SP, and her main original research lines.
