Bachelor in Mathematics at Universidade de São Paulo (USP- 1989), master's in Mathematics at Universidade de São Paulo (1991) and ph.d. in Education at Universidade de São Paulo (1999). Has experience in Education, focusing on Math Education, acting on the following subjects: teachers education, history of mathematics, cognitive and linguistic aspects in Math Education, Mathematics teaching through problem solving. Administrative experiences at the coordination of the Mathematics Teachers Education Course at ICMC-USP, from 1998 to 2009 and recently.
