Ricardo Andrade Terini

Graduated in Physics (BSc) at Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP) (1980), Degree in Physics (for teaching) at PUC-SP (1980); Master's degree in physics (1986) and Ph.D. in experimental nuclear physics from PUC-SP (1991). Professor of the Department of Physics of the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo from 1985 to 2014. Coordinator of the Physics course at PUC-SP for 8 years. Pos-Doc at IF-USP in 2016. Collaborator researcher at the Institute for Energy and Environment from 1998 to 2015, and at the Radiation Dosimetry and Medical Physics Lab, Physics Institute, University of São Paulo, from 2015 until now. Visiting Teacher of CCNH of UFABC from 05. 2018 to 05.2020. Teacher at IF-USP from 2016 to April, 2018, from July, 2022 to August, 2023, and since July, 2024. He has experience in Physics teachers education, as well as Radiation Physics and Medical Physics Applied to Radiology, Dosimetry and Radiological Protection, working mainly in research and development in the following areas: X-ray spectrometry with pin photodiodes, and CdTe and CdZnTe detectors; Calibration of kVp meters; Practical Peak Voltage; X-ray scattering; Compton spectrometry of X-ray beams; calibration of ionization chambers, semiconductor dosimeters, air kerma-area product meters, CT chambers and radiation monitors, CT dosimetry with ion chambers, TLD and OSL; CT dose profile; History of Medical Physics.
