Graduate at Civil Engineering from University of San Pablo (USP) (1972), Master of Science at Structures Engineering from University of San Pablo (1979), Ph.D. at Structures Engineering from University of San Pablo (1991), Free Teaching from State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) (2007). Has experience in civil engineering, focusing on wooden structures, acting on the following subjects: experimental analysis, alternative materials, timber, concrete formworks, wood drying, biodeterioration and preservation, experiments statistic planning.
