Marina C. Rillo has a B.Sc. degree in Molecular Sciences (2012) and Biology (2014) from the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil, a M.Sc. degree in Evolutionary Biology (2014) from the University of Groningen (Netherlands) and University of Montpellier II (France), and obtained her Ph.D. degree at the University of Southampton, UK in 2019. She is interested in theoretical ecology and uses planktonic foraminifera to bridge the fields of community ecology, biogeography and macroevolution. She is currently a postdoc at Prof. Helmut Hillebrand's group at the University of Oldenburg (Germany) studying biodiversity change across different time scales. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
