Angela Maria Rocha

Artist, Free Lecturer, researcher integrated with the GMP (Museum Heritage Group) from 2018; a) holds a degree in Architecture and Urbanism from FAU USP (Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the University of São Paulo 1980); b) master's degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the University of São Paulo (1991), with the aim of analyzing the work of architect Gian Carlo Palanti; c) PhD in Architecture and Urbanism from the University of São Paulo (1997), in which he addressed the notions of Abstraction and Figuration referred to representations in painting; d) in his Free Teaching Thesis (2012) he analyzed the concept of Representation for professional training, considered an instrument of social communication and a means of productive processes. In her career as a university professor, she has guided scientific initiation, master's and doctoral students, as an artist, participated in salons and collective and individual exhibitions in printmaking, drawing, watercolor and painting. He carried out building projects and urban design. In the postgraduate course at FAU USP, he worked in the Architecture Technology Area in the line of research: Production Process of Architecture and Urbanism, having developed his didactic activities in undergraduate and graduate courses in the following subjects: teaching drawing, painting , image and representation, documentation for architecture. She served as President of the FAU USP Culture and Extension Commission, participating in collegiate bodies of the unit and the university and as deputy director of CEUMA (Centro Universitário Maria Antônia), where she was a professor of the specialization course: Language of the Arts, currently in ECA.
