PhD degree in Pharmacology obtained at the Department of Pharmacology of the "Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP-Botucatu). "Livre-Docente" degree in Pharmacology obtained at the Department of Pharmacology of the University of São Paulo. At present is an associate-professor at the Department of Pharmacology of the University of São Paulo. Former positions at the same Department: Instructor in Pharmacology; Doctor-Assistant Professor in Pharmacology. Area of research: pharmacology. Subjects: pharmacology of the neuromuscular junction; pharmacology of antiarrhythmic drugs; pharmacology of the autonomic nervous system. Areas of technical expertize: electrophysiological and myoghaphic techniques; advanced techniques of structure-activity relationships.
