Ricardo Dias de Oliveira Brito

Ricardo D. Brito is President Director of Desenvolve SP. He holds a master's degree in Economics from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (1996), a PhD in Economics from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (2001) and livre docência in Financial Economics from FEA-USP (2020). With a sandwich year at the University of Chicago (1998-1999) and postdoctoral period at Columbia University (2006-2007), he was adjunct professor at Ibmec-Rio between 2000-2003 and assistant/associate professor at Ibmec São Paulo / Insper between 2004-2019. He is Associate Professor (on leave) of the Department of Economics at FEA-USP. He has experience in the areas of Economics and Finance, with an emphasis on Investments, Corporate Finance and Monetary Economics, acting mainly on the following topics: asset pricing and portfolio management, capital structure and dividend policy, and monetary policy.
