Graduated in Medicine (1993) and Medical Residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics (1995 - 1997) at the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo, Master's and Doctorate in Medicine (Obstetrics and Gynecology - 2001 and 2003) at the University of São Paulo Paulo and Post-doctorate in Fetal Medicine at King's College Hospital (University of London - 2003, 2004). He has a specialist title in Gynecology and Obstetrics from AMB and FEBRASGO, a specialist title in general ultrasound from AMB and CBR, a specialist title in fetal medicine from AMB and FEBRASGO and an International Diploma in Fetal Medicine from the Fetal Medicine Foundation and International Educational Committee. He is currently the doctor responsible for the Postgraduate course in Fetal Medicine at CETRUS, for the Center for Fetal Medicine and Fetal Surgery Gestar, for the Fetal Surgery service at Hospital do Coração (HCor) in São Paulo and for the Fetal Medicine and Fetal Surgery service of the São Luiz Star Maternity Hospital (Rede DOr) in São Paulo.
