André Santanchè holds a Ph.D. in computer science and works as an associate professor at the Institute of Computing (IC) - UNICAMP, where he also coordinates the Laboratory of Information Systems (LIS). His research interests include three interconnected topics: e-science (mostly applied to health), data science (particularly knowledge representation, natural language processing, and network science), and e-learning (with a focus on case-based and open-ended learning environments).
