Márcia Cristina Livonesi

Graduated in Pharmacy-Biochemistry at Universidade Estadual Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (UNESP) (1998). Master's (2001) and Doctorate (2006) in Sciences in the area of #8203;#8203;Basic and Applied Immunology from the University of São Paulo (USP). She is currently an associate professor at the Federal University of Alfenas (UNIFAL, MG), teaching classes in Clinical Immunology, Clinical Virology and Molecular Biology Applied to Diagnosis in the Pharmacy and Biomedicine and Molecular Biology Applied to Pharmacy courses in the Pharmacy course. She has experience in the areas of Immunology, Mycology and Virology, working mainly on the following themes: innate and acquired immune response to fungi and viruses, immunological and molecular diagnosis of viruses and analysis of compounds to search for antiviral drugs.
