Danilo Aguiar is a Professor in the Department of Economics and Dean of the School of Management and Technology at Federal University of São Carlos - Sorocaba Campus, Brazil. He holds a PhD degree in Agricultural Economics awarded by University of São Paulo (1994). He was a visiting scholar at both Purdue University (Department of Agricultural Economics) and University of California - Davis (Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics), and a Fulbright Chair in the John Martinson Honors College Department of Agricultural Economics at Purdue University (2023) in the U.S., and a Faculty member at São Paulo State University and Federal University of Vicosa, both in Brazil. His current interests are applied microeconomics, environment and climate change, non-market valuation, and economics of food consumption. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
