Francisco Borges Costa, collaborating professor at the Posgraduate Program in Animal Science PPGCA at the State University of Maranhão UEMA, is a Researcher Senior. International Cooperation and Academic Exchange agreement between UEMA and Universidad Nacional de Colombia UNAL and International Research Cooperation between UEMA and the Institute of Medical Science by the University of Tokyo. He works in the Preventive Veterinary Medicine area, teaching the discipline "Parasitic Diseases of Domestic Animals" at 20h graduation and experience in: vector-borne diseases in Amazon-Cerrado transition areas, tick systematics, molecular biology and cell culture.
