I am a Black woman, a naturalized Brazilian, with a background in remote sensing and meteorology. Originally from Cuba, I moved to Brazil for academic growth, earning a specialization in Remote Sensing (2006), a Masters in Meteorology (2010), and a PhD in Remote Sensing (2015) from INPE. I also hold degrees in Hydrography and Oceanography Engineering (1999) and Management Processes (2021).My continued education includes ENAP certifications in Agile Management, Digital Transformation, and LideraGov 4.0, a special program for Black people. Since 2014, Ive worked at CEMADEN, forecasting and issuing alerts for extreme hydrological events. Im also the Director of Diversity and Inclusion at SindCT and contributed to the book Black Women in Federal Public Service.Im proud of my roots and family, with my husband Eduardo and daughters Victória and Kênia.
