Full Professor in Computer Aided Design by the School of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Urban Design (FEC) of University of Campinas (UNICAMP) (2009), Ph.D. in Automation from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at UNICAMP (1996), Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Arkansas (1984) and Civil Engineer by the Piracicaba Engineering School (1981). She was a professor with at FEC-UNICAMP from 1986 to 2016. She is currently Researcher and Collaborator Professor at FEC-UNICAMP at the Graduate Program in Architecture, Technology, and City & Civil Engineering. She is editor in chief of the Journal PARC Research in Architecture and Construction and a member of the editorial board of Building Research and Information. She was president and director of the National Association of Technology in the Built Environment from 2012-2016. She actively collaborates on research projects with an emphasis on computer development for social housing and environmental performance. Collaborates actively in research projects with emphasis on computational development for social housing and environmental performance. Investigates the use of Augmented Reality applied to design and facility management by assessing the perception and impact on user performance.
