Bachelor's at Biology from Universidade Metodista de Piracicaba (2002), Master's at Ecology of Agroecosystems from Escola Superior de Agricultura "Luiz de Queiroz" - ESALQ/USP (2004), Doctorate at Applied Ecology from ESALQ/USP (2009), Post Doctoral from São Paulo University (2012). Member of Institute for Neotropical Carnivores Conservation (Pró-Carnívoros). Has experience in Conservation Biology and Ecology, acting on the following subjects: survey, identification and conservation of medium large mammals, mainly big cats, and human/wildlife conflicts on the Caatinga biome, Brazil.
