José Paulo Gouvêa, architect since 2004, completed the Master course (2010) and PhD research (2016) at the Technology Department of the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the University of São Paulo. Associate Professor at ?Escola da Cidade?, school of architecture, institution where he is teaching architectural design since 2007. Architect in charge at JPG.ARQ, he is the author of the winning project in national competition for the Brazilian Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai (inaugurated in 2021) and for the new unit of SESC in Limeira, São Paulo (under construction). He also designed the São Miguel Paulista unit of the public equipment CEU, Unified Educational Center (inaugurated in 2020). He is the curator of the exhibitions about " The Brazilian Pavilion at Expo '70 Osaka", held at the Architecture Gallery of 'Escola da Cidade', São Paulo, 2018, and at the Brazilian Embassy in Tokyo, Japan, 2019.
