Holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences, as well as a PhD in Genetics and Molecular Biology from UNICAMP. Has extensive experience in molecular genetics, with a particular focus on biochemistry and molecular biology. Her expertise lies in the following areas: cloning, expression and purification of proteins in different systems (E. coli, P. pastoris, Sf9), double-hybrid, complementation in yeast, reporter and localisation assays in eukaryotic cells and activity assays. Sinse 2010 has been a Science and Technology Analyst at the MCTI, initialy working as a Technical Advisor for CTNBio. Since 2019, has been assigned to the General Coordination of Health, Biotechnological and Agricultural Sciences, currently holding the position of Coordinator of Programmes and Projects for Health, Biotechnology and Agriculture. Represents the MCTI on various boards: Technical Evaluation Commission (CTA) for Productive Development Partnerships (PDP), Interministerial Committee for the Elimination of Tuberculosis and Other Socially Determined Diseases (CIEDDS), National Commission for the Implementation of the Framework Convention on Tobacco Control and its Protocols (CONICQ), Technical Group for Critical Infrastructure Security in the area of Biosafety and Bioprotection (GT SIC-BIO), and Committee for Tackling Disinformation about the National Immunisation Programme and Public Health Policies, among others.
