Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Instituto Oceanográfico (IO) (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal) Birthplace: Brazil
I have a degree and bachelor in Science at Univ. Presbiteriana Mackenzie, with a master's and doctorate in Science (ecology/environment) in the Oceanography program at the Oceanographic Institute - USP. I have been working with macro- and megabenthos ecology for 20 years, with emphasis on Crustacea and Amphipoda (taxonomy and ecology). I worked for 4 years for the oil industry as an environmental analyst, to assess environmental impacts in areas protected by IBAMA, mainly in deep sea coral banks and calcareous algae. In order to complement my previous knowledge in EIA, I took a postgraduate course at SENAC - Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Licensing Processes. I currently teach Elementary School II and High School, including Training Itineraries (CSI and Observatory of Biological Phenomena). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
