Tatiana Bendo

Bachelor's degree in Physics from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2004). Master in Materials Science and Engineering from the Postgraduate Program in Materials Science and Engineering - PGMAT UFSC in 2009. PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from PGMAT UFSC in 2013. Areas of expertise: Materials processing by plasma, surface engineering, powder metallurgy, emphasis on structural and microstructural characterization of materials - Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Transmission (TEM), Raman micro-spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction.Post-Doctorate at PGMAT-UFSC, working as a researcher in the Materials Laboratory (LabMat). Visiting Researcher at PRH 45.1 - ANP (Human Resources Training Program for the Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels Sector of ANP - National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels) at the Department of Mechanical Engineering - UFSC (2019-2023).Publications on the following topics: thermochemical treatments via plasma, deposition of layers via plasma, tribology, mechanical, microstructural and structural properties of materials, powder metallurgy, self-lubricating composite materials, functional coatings.
