Gabriela Sotelo Castan

Graduate at Ciências Biológicas from Universidade Cidade de São Paulo (2004) and postgraduation on Environmental Management at Santa Cecília University (2011). Has experience in Botany, focusing on Botany, acting on the following subjects: recovery of degraded areas, phytosociology and seeds ecophysiology. Also performs environmental consulting as fauna, flora, underground water monitoring, waste and wasterwater management and enviromental education for worfkforce in companies and industries.Gabriela is an environmental scientist with over 10 years research and professional experience in Australia and Brazil. Within Australia, she has environmental assessment, environmental education and management experience in the private and public sectors. Gabriela recently commenced a Masters degree at SCU, investigating effective restoration strategies for open forest in 2 different States: Queensland and New South Wales. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
