Hamilton Luiz Gimenes Teixeira

Graduated in Biology from the União das Faculdades Barão de Mauá (1997), specialized in molecular biology at the Fundação Hemocentro de Ribeirão Preto (2000) and completed a postgraduate course at the Department of Internal Medicine of the Hospital das Clínicas of the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto Preto from the University of São Paulo (USP) obtaining the title of Doctor in Medical Sciences in 2009. He has a Post-Doctorate from the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto and from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto, both from USP. His area of interest is basic science: biochemistry, molecular and cell biology, genetics and immunology with an emphasis on epigenetic studies and non-coding RNAs in cancer pathogenesis.
