ANDRÉ CONSTANTINO YAZBEK is Master and Doctor of Philosophy at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP), having completed part of his studies at the École Normale Supérieure of Paris (ENS) and the Institut Memoires de l'Édition Contemporaine (IMEC). His work is dedicated to the study of contemporary French philosophy, especially the works of Jean-Paul Sartre and Michel Foucault. Apart from several articles published in academic journals, he is author of the books entitled: Itinerários cruzados: os caminhos da contemporaneidade filosófica francesa nas obras de Jean-Paul Sartre e Michel Foucault (EDUC/FAPESP, 2010) and 10 Lições sobre Foucault (Vozes, 2012). Currently, he is Associate Professor at the Department of Philosophy and at the Postgraduate Program in Philosophy of Fluminense Federal University (UFF). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
