Antonio de Campos Sachs

Bachelor's in Physics from the State University of Campinas (1973), Degree in Physics from the State University of Campinas (1975), MSc in Physics from the State University of Campinas (1977) and PhD in Engineering from the University of São Paulo (2011). He worked on Optical Telecommunications at the Center of Research and Development in Telecommunications (CPqD) from August 1978 to January 2005. He has experience in Electrical Engineering, with emphasis on Optical Networks. He has experience on the following specific topics: growth and characterization of III-V compounds for the manufacture of semiconductor lasers, design and simulation of optical links, WDM optical networks, optical packet switching and complex networks.
