Leandro Rubim de Freitas

PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Mogi das Cruzes (UMC), Master in Informatics from the Catholic University of Santos and Computer scientist at the University of São Caetano do Sul. For fifteen years he worked in large companies in the analysis and development of financial systems (Itaú and BankBoston banks), automotive industry (Mercedes-Bens and General Motors) and insurance (Itaú Seguros and Indiana Seguros). He has extensive experience in Software Engineering, in systems analysis tools, database and applications development for batch, desktop, web and mobile architecture, especially with Java technology, which worked for eleven years. He was a FAPESP scholar in research in the area of intelligent systems and CAPES in research in biomedical engineering. He was a member of the Advisory Committee of Evaluation at INEP of Computer Networks courses. He worked at FIAP as coordinator of the Higher Technology Courses (for 2 years) and Director of Distance Education (www.fiap.com.br/online) (for 7 years), in addition to working as a professor in undergraduate and MBA courses in IT and Innovation area at FIAP and at Toledo Prudente Centro Universitário. He served as Director of Products at Laureate Universities and Director of Digital Student Journey at Anima Educação.
