Graduated in Bachelor of Physics from UNESP, Master in Computational Physics from University of São Paulo - IFSC-USP and Ph.D. in Computational Physics from University of São Paulo - IFSC-USP. Post-doctorate at the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics of the University of São Paulo IME-USP and post-doctorate at the Institut National de Recherche en Informatique et en Automatique INRIA-France. She is currently an adjunct professor at the State University of Rio de Janeiro at the Instituto Politecnico-IPRJ-UERJ. She has experience in Computer Vision, working on the following topics: image processing; 3D shape analysis; wavelets; landmarks; MRI, SPM and cryoEM images; symmetry analysis; video object tracking; pattern recognition, multi-scale analysis.
