Regiane Natumi has a Bachelor Degree in Environmental Chemistry from the Universidade de São Paulo (2013), Master Degree in Environmental Sciences from Universität Trier (2016) and is currently a PhD student from the ETH Zürich. She has experience on the areas of environmental chemistry, analytical chemistry and natural products. She is currently writing her PhD thesis under the supervision of Dr. Elisabeth Janssen at EAWAG on the Department of Environmental Chemistry on the topic environmental fate of novel cyanopeptides. The project focus on the determination of photochemical transformation mechanisms, sorption and biodegradation processes to determine the stability and possible transformation processes of cyanopeptides under environmental conditions.
