Abstract
A new species of Cretobibio Skartveit & Ansorge, 2020, a genus formerly known only from the Lower Cretaceous of Spain, is described from the Lower Cretaceous of Brazil (Crato Formation, upper Aptian). A critical overview of scarce Mesozoic record of the Bibionidae is given. (AU)
