Abstract

A posteriori goal-oriented error estimation for approximation of discontinuous Galerkin finite element method is considered for the biharmonic equation. The methodology is based on the dual problem associated to the target functional. Using our estimation, we design two error indicators in order to ensure an efficient error control of the prescribed functional. We present numerical experiments to illustrate the performance of the error indicators. (AU)
