Abstract | |
We show that the removal of one point from 2(omega 1) gives a counterexample to a conjecture of Ishiu on D-spaces. We also show that Martin's Axiom implies that there are no Lindelof non-D-spaces that can be written as union of less than continuum many compact subspaces. Finally we show that the property of being a D-space is preserved by forcing with trees of height omega. (AU) | |
