Abstract

The use of virtual simulation in industrial design and validation processes has considerably increased over the last years, due to better algorithms, affordable computational power with good performance and gradual acceptance of its results by technical experts. Nevertheless, although electromagnetic simulation has also evolved, it still does not have the same penetration in validation processes as fluid dynamics simulation, for example. Most of decision makers are still skeptic in relation to electromagnetic simulation validity and its ability to reliably represent real world problems. This paper proposes to investigate simulation correlation with real measurement focusing on electronic circuits emissions and using state of the art statistical analysis as Feature Selective Validation as a parameter.
