The memorandum of understanding with UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) includes the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) as well as the modality Pump-Priming Award (FAPPA). The aim of this award is to provide short term pump-priming to new collaborations between FAPESP-funded research groups in the State of São Paulo, Brazil, and BBSRC-funded research groups in the UK.
