Abstract

This projects aims to promote de continuity of an ongoing collaboration whose main focus is the study of non-linear waves in continuous media, manly in hydrodynamics. Specifically, we propose to study the dynamics of waves generated by wind in presence of currents and, on the other had, the dynamics of coastal pattern formation by water-waves. Both theoretical and applied issues will be considered. Methods used will come from asymptotic analysis and numerical integration. (AU)
