Abstract

We present a cooperation proposal between authors to submit to SPRINT-Fapesp/Appels bilatéraux de mobilité - F.R.S. - FNRS call. The project is based on modeling of vector-borne diseases, where P.H.T.S has expertise using cellular automata, complex networks and ordinary differential equations, and S.v. has expertise in acquiring, using and analysing of real data on health risks related to vector-borne diseases. In this project we focus first on the tick-borne diseases, a global issue in human and veterinary health. The objective is gathering the experiences of modeling from P.H.T.S and applied case studies from S.V. to develop original concepts and methods for the simulation and modelling of vector-borne diseases.
