Abstract

The present proposal aims to evaluate the tolerance and phytoremediation potential of two tropical herbaceous leguminous plants (Calopogonium mucunoides and Stizolobium aterrimum) and, in addition, to evaluate the maximum tolerance level of tree legumes to these same pollutants (Inga fagilofia, Inga uruguensis and Lanchocarpus muehlbergianus) in soil conditions contaminated by copper, boron and manganese, which, in adequate concentrations, are required in the metabolism, but which has presented problems of contamination in some areas due to inadequate agricultural practices or intensive use of the area. The proposal will use the approach of characterization of maximum tolerated doses for each plant, tissue location of the element and subsequent evaluation of the potential use of the combination of the use of a herbaceous legume (calopogonium or black mucuna) together with one of the trees that presents greater sensitivity, as a possible strategy of recuperation or vegetal recomposition of impacted areas.
