Abstract
Considering the continuous demand for investment in the improvement of Information Technology systems, the Instituto de Botânica has been carrying out resource applications over the last few years, aiming not only to maintain access to the global data network by the technical staff, but also to support the activities search for storage and availability of information, digitization of scientific collections with high resolution images, database systems for geoprocessing. In this way it is also necessary to invest in the protection and guarantee of maintenance of the operation of this structure. Thus, IBt defined as essential to invest the RT-INFRA resources available in the acquisition of a Moto Generator Group dedicated to this infrastructure. (AU)
