Abstract

The goal of this project is to obtain results in many classic problems of the Geometry of Banach Spaces in the context of C(K)-spaces.These problems deal with questions involving subspace complementation, extension of bounded operators and twisted sums. The tools used in this research are analytical methods in the study of C(K)-spaces as well as topological and set--theoretical methods in the study of properties of compact spaces that translate into properties of their spaces of continuous functions.
