Abstract

Using techniques of Set Theory and Infinite Combinatory, we investigate problems related to the geometry of Banach spaces of the form C(K). In special, we study the spaces C(K) with few operators, i.e., where every operator on C(K) is multiplication by a continuous function plus a weakly compact operator. When K is connected, this implies C(K) is indecomposable, which is the main focus on our research. (AU)
