Abstract

Dr. Bridge will visit Dr. Pimentel's, Dr. Manzato's and Dr. Neris' in São Carlos, and Dr. Macedo's group in Ribeirão Preto. Dr. Bridge will deliver a course on recommender systems topics associated with the use of recommendation techniques in the context of the ubiquitous capture and programmed intervention of experiences. Common research interests will be presented and discussed in a workshop and during the visit.The long term goal of the visit is the establishment of a partnership among the researchers. As a result of previous preparation on the Brazilian side, during the visit experiments to be carried out, and the corresponding results to be reported in an paper prepared at the end of the visit. This contents will also be used as the basis for the preparation of a joint project for independent submission in each country, Ireland and Brazil, in the context of the partnership. (AU)
