Abstract

Many studies have focused on the Social Assistance Policy as public policy state duty and citizen's right. However, few have as their object the health of workers in the Unified Social Assistance System, the problems they face in their daily lives, their working conditions, the precariousness of public services and the resistance of public management, as well as the impact on personal and family life. labor market. This gap needs to be studied when considering the leading role that SUAS workers can take in tackling inequality and poverty. Who are SUAS workers, what do they do and how do they do it? Are they sick? What are the objective and subjective conditions of health and work? What does the SUAS worker think? These workers are not different from the other Brazilians who live from work, for they are also inserted in the conditions given by contemporary capitalism, under the precarious forms of work and wage labor, with the arduous task of assisting in the construction of a system of public protection, universal and democratic. The methodology to be adopted is dialectical, with the accomplishment of research of qualitative exploratory nature, whose purpose is the approximation of the phenomenon or the problem, considering the social context and its contradictions. (GIL, 1994). The study will be carried out with SUAS workers from the State of São Paulo, who work on the management of SUAS and will take place in two stages (online research and focus group). A form with 25 open and closed questions for SUAS workers, drawn up in Google Forms, will be available on social networks. After the first stage, the workers who agreed to participate in a focal group to be held in UNIFRAN units will be identified. The challenge for the implementation of Social Assistance involves the materialization of the population's access to social rights, mediated by empowered social workers, with better health and work conditions. It is hoped to unveil the objective and subjective work conditions of work, to publicize the collected data, to arouse the interest of other researchers, to relate the importance of health promotion with better conditions of life and work in SUAS. Keywords: SUAS workers, work and health (AU)
