Dimensional effects in few-body physics in a many-body environment

Abstract

In this project we will study the behavior of several few-atom physical observables in the universal regime as we continously change the dimensionality of the system. The present study began in my last project, but it still has several topics that were not yet touched. We will also verify the few-body effects in thermodynamics quantities as, for example, the effect of bound Efimov states in the specific heat of a gas - our aim is to understand what is the role of the few-body physics in a context of a many-body system. In this last part, the effect of the dimensional change of the system will be also taken into account. (AU)
