Abstract

Due to the industrial demand to perform tests that aim to analyze the structural integrity of any mechanical structure, even with high geometric complexities, the research related to this area received high financial investment. Inspired by biological immune systems, artificial immunological systems arise, and these present computational methods of SHM. A method with Negative Selection Algorithm is an SIA test that aims to analyze the structural integrity and can be divided into two stages: sensing and monitoring, this method was formulated from the analysis and observation of negative selection of T cells from the organism that occurs in the thymus. Experimental data will be collected and the method with Negative Selection Algorithm will be applied to verify the efficiency of this innovative proposal of the method of monitoring structural integrity.
