Abstract

7 Waves platform was created in 2017 with the mission to assist people in managing life goals and tracking personal goals through Machine Learning and Data Mining technologies that act to indicate actions, content and opportunities that help users to be more effective in their achievements.For the accomplishment of the mission of 7 Waves a research project was developed to evaluate the technical-scientific feasibility. In order to carry out this process, the company was formed and had its own investments, from investors and Phase 1 of PIPE-FAPESP, which had its granting agreement signed in February 2018. In the first four months of launching the project in the market, in its version 1.0, it has generated a reach of 10,000 installations and the insertion of more than 20,000 objectives in the application available free in the versions Android and Apple. About 100 face-to-face interviews were held with executives from human resources, marketing, psychologists and coaches, interactions in part made possible by the support received by the entrepreneurs in the Hi-Tech PIPE Entrepreneur Training.All this process culminated in the validation of some of the initial hypotheses, as well as the identification of a series of improvement opportunities for the next steps, mainly in what concerns to act more clearly in the proposal of value and in the definition of the segment of clients more adherent generation of business.The main strategic decision that came out of the process was the pivoting of the 7 Waves platform from the originally planned B2C format to the B2B format. Thus, the customer segment and the functionalities of the platform were defined so that human resources areas can manage the objectives of their companies and ensure alignment with the strategy of their employees. From then on, the present development project was elaborated to scale the technology platform of 7 Waves in order to generate business through the great mass of data analyzed through the use of the app.As the main technological challenge of the present project, it is possible to list the creation of algorithms capable of interpreting and classifying the data inserted in natural language by the users in the platform, in order to generate the learning and the consequent autonomous decision making to make recommendations of actions, contents and more assertive opportunities to users.As a result of this technological evolution, which guides the research proposal, it is hoped to generate the engagement of 50 companies that apply the innovation of 7 Waves in their organizations, so that one can find the product market fit. As part of the 100 Open Startups movement and has already been ranked 49th in the general ranking of startups in attractiveness for relationships with large companies and in 2nd place in the segment of HR Techs (technologies for Human Resources), there is already a good articulated network to achieve this goal, we need only evolve in technological development to be able to apply our solution in the corporate context.
