Abstract

The disproportionate distribution of natural resources and the demand for water and nutrients in agricultural systems makes it important to search for alternative sources of supply, so a measure that has been diffused is the use of treated domestic sewage in agriculture, which can guarantee an increase in production due to the greater contribution of nutrients and organic matter. Allied to this, the expansion of the vegetable market, the farmer has often opted for suspended farming systems, which provide higher quality to the crop and enables anticipation of the harvest, as in the case of strawberry. Thus, the objective of this work is to evaluate the suspended crop production of strawberry (Fragaria x ananassa dusch) using domestic sewage treated as a source of water and nutrients. The experiment will be carried out in a greenhouse, the chosen system is the suspended crop and will have three treatments: (TA) drinking water plus chemical fertilizers, (TRA) reuse water supplemented with fertilizers, (TR) only reuse water, an experimental design will be in completely randomized blocks. The results will be evaluated through analysis of variance and followed by Tukey test at 5% probability. The use of treated domestic sewage is expected to provide water and nutrients to the crop, ensuring production and reducing the use of water and chemical fertilizers. (AU)
