Abstract

The project aims to incorporate technology to the essential oil distillers developed by Linax to produce a newgeneration of automated equipments of better performance and operation. In the commercial area will be developeda marketing strategy to increase marketing in the Brazilian market and expansion into the international market. Theautomated control system should be capable of being installed in distilleries of large essential oils already inoperation.and abroad. Three models of distillers currently sold by Linax will be improved and automated, with theincorporation of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), and a real-time interface (HMI). The system will be able tocontrol and monitor the entire process of extracting essential oils by steam-distillation, in laboratories as well as inindustries and agro-industries, extensive for tracking operation in computers, tablets and smartphones. An engineerand trained technicians will be hired for the development and improvement of the equipment currently in productionand development of new models with friendly Man-Machine interface, with high performance, that meet thenormative requirements of Brazil and abroad. All phases of the production process of the equipment and respectivedescriptions and specifications will be systematized in order to enable the equipment to be produced in scalereduction of cost. A specialized marketing team will be formed to develop the commercialization of automateddistillers of high performance both in Brazil and abroad. (AU)
