Abstract

Many studies have addressed the consequences of habitat modifications on structure of communities based on evaluations and analyses of landscapes that already were disturbed and/or partially fragmented. Majority of these studies have focused on static landscapes, neglecting the dynamic of natural landscapes, in which restoration of habitats and occurrence of new disturbances affect continuously the species dynamic. The restoration process, the frequency of modifications and, the disturbance extension and its distribution at landscape can influence functional relationship among species causing different consequences on structuration of communities. This study aims to understand how the dynamic of landscape can affect the structure of communities. Specifically, this study aims to understand patterns in species distribution and community dynamic of Lepidoptera and their parasitoids associated to "Capinxigui", present in areas characterized by different disturbance regimes and restoration processes. For this, it will be considered the history of landscape changes in three areas of Fazenda Canchim (Embrapa Pecuária Sudeste - São Carlos- SP) using data of already existing insect samples (long to fourteen years) and new insect samples in the areas.
