RTI 2018 - ANNUAL PLAN FOR APPLICATION OF THE INSTITUTIONAL TECHNICAL RESERVE (ITR) PORTION AT THE HEART INSTITUTE FROM UNIVERSITY OF SÃO PAULO MEDICAL SCHOOL.

Abstract

InCor is a highly complex public university hospital, specialized in Cardiology, Pulmonology and Cardiac and Thoracic surgery. It has 10% of its built area (three blocks with a total of 81,500 m2), dedicated exclusively to research. Since its creation, a multidisciplinary approach has been used as a vector to advance the knowledge about cardiovascular diseases and to develop new equipment, drugs, diagnostics, therapies and surgical procedures. A portion of 2018's ITR will be applied as follows: a project management software license that allows better integration between the planning and execution phases, through a single monitoring and control platform for various project activities; purchase of two defibrillator devices because most studies involve healthy and cardiopulmonary patients and, with this equipment, in the event of any cardiorespiratory complication (cardiorespiratory arrest) during any examination or procedure, the resuscitation can occur at the site and in a general and efficient way; purchase of tickets, discounts and health insurance to attract researchers with participation in InCor's Research Lecture Series Program that aims the development of symposia focused on the discussion and development of clinical and experimental research in Brazil, as long as technical courses of continuing education program in clinical and research and conducting Grand Rounds, where they will have the opportunity to discuss broad research topics; purchase of a software license that manages the storage of research images (resonance and nuclear medicine images) and the execution of transmission improvement services between InCor and USP - this service aims to improve the existing structure because it is necessary due to the increasing volume of information, whether through image diagnostics, data mining, undergraduate and graduate classes with 3D images, case study meetings for research analysis, as well as administrative information.
