Abstract

Labor relations have evolved greatly over the past 100 years, always thinking about how to maximize the results of companies and more recently how to ensure more engagement, rights and freedoms for employees. Among the most significant changes we can mention: a) freedom in the working day, b) structures that are increasingly less hierarchical, c) information shared in a genuine way and with a lot of transparency (internal and external). d) Communication through new digital tools, e) more structured career plans and training to ensure the growth of people, both as a professional and as an individual. And the strongest trend in 2020: f) Remote work. They all have some goals in common:1. Improve the relationship between the company and employees. 2. Recognize work-life balance. People have a life in the company and one outside, but they don't have to be different lives, it can be a balanced life.3. Facilitate the flow of actions and decision-making to increase productivity, especially in an increasingly fast-paced world. Even with these noble objectives, labor relations continue to have several questions within society, some of the most significant: 1. How to recognize singularity, within so much plurality? 2. How to assess the impact of sustainability on the company? Is there a way to evaluate the return on investment in human resources such as diversity and inclusion?3. How to accompany and support the individual at every moment of his life? With our research, we want to analyze and discover how the help of new technologies, can give companies adequate tools to: authentically identify the needs in each moment of life, of each of its employees. Translate these needs into tangible company actions and benefits for the employee. To generate a direct impact on improving the quality of life, the commitment and engagement of each employee. And with this constant practice, create a true culture of diversity and inclusion, improving labor relations, results, return on investment and the real impact on the prosperity of Brazilian society, especially in companies in São Paulo, a city that has characteristics of greater diversity.
