Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has important mortality rates in older patients and with preexisting conditions. However, there are scarce relates in medical literature regarding the burden of the disease in the solid organ transplant recepients. Preliminary data of a high-volume pediatric liver transplantation in Italy has reported no liver transplant recepients clinical pulmonary disease, and only 3 hospitalized liver transplant patients had confirmed COVID-19.
