Abstract

Research activities in the areas of civil, electrical, mechanical and chemical engineering. In the electrical engineering area, power electronics related research is supported in the development of power electronics converters to be used in nuclear fusion reactors of the Tokamak type, it also concentrates research on the development of an autonomous vehicle of the last mile drive-by-wire as well as the development of a simplified Virtual Twin system in Virtual Reality. In the civil area, it studies parameters to develop mortars and special concretes, in addition to characterizing material sizes. In the mechanical area, research is directed at the machining and forming area, aiming at the optimization of mechanical projects and mechanical manufacturing processes, and in the chemical area, applications of anaerobic bioreactors operated in batches are developed, aiming at the treatment of wastewater and the production of bioenergy.
